VICTORIA GRUENBERG

Producer & Director

Victoria Gruenberg is a creative producer and director working in new play development, live performance, and multidisciplinary storytelling. Originally from Orlando, she brings a background in music and performance theory to her work, shaping projects with a strong sense of rhythm, tone, and collaboration.

As a producer, Victoria approaches each project as an ecosystem—balancing creative ambition with the practical realities of budget, timeline, and team dynamics. She has led complex productions from concept through execution across Off-Broadway, festivals, and independent work, known for translating between artists, designers, and stakeholders to move projects forward with clarity and care. Her work spans theater and audio, including producing for The Shine App, where she helped grow one of the platform’s flagship series to reach tens of thousands of daily listeners, and associate producing new theatrical work that has earned sold-out runs and critical recognition.

Victoria’s producing practice is rooted in service, curiosity, and problem-solving—whether that means building systems from scratch, guiding teams through high-pressure moments, or reimagining logistics when the unexpected occurs. She is particularly drawn to projects that challenge form both onstage and behind the scenes, exploring new models of collaboration, funding, and audience engagement.

Alongside her producing work, Victoria has spent nearly a decade directing new plays and reimagined classics at companies including Williamstown Theatre Festival, The Flea, and Gloucester Stage. As a director, she is interested in what she calls “human spectacle”—moments where the audience feels the live, high-stakes presence of performers in real time. She listens to text as much as she sees it, building productions through rhythm, voice, and the distinct creative signatures of her collaborators.

Across both disciplines, her work is guided by a belief that performance can rehearse a more generous and imaginative future—one shaped by shared authorship, rigor, and the possibility of something genuinely new.

Victoria produces and directs live experiences.

I am a producer of theater, live events, and location-based experiences.

I cut my teeth on a play whose venue caught fire the night of our first performance. You may have seen it in Vulture’s Top 10 Plays of 2025,

I am also a director for theater and audio.
